Originally from Yokohama, Japan, Chef Ririka Evans, also known as Chef Riri, brings over 14 years of professional culinary experience in both Japan and the United States.

She trained in traditional sushi techniques under Sushi Chef Asai at Tsukiji in Tokyo and continued to refine her skills while working in sushi restaurants in the United States.

​

Chef Riri specializes in private sushi parties and hands-on sushi-making classes. Her popular Sip & Roll sushi classes are held throughout West Virginia, the DMV, and the surrounding area.

​

She has also worked with Design Cuisine, a premier Washington, D.C. catering company, assisting with high-profile events for U.S. presidents, the Prime Minister of Japan, and other VIP guests. This experience reflects her commitment to exceptional hospitality and the highest standards of professional service.

Every event is personally customized by Chef Riri to fit each group’s preferences and occasion.
